BIOGRAPHY

Aung Naing, a talented artist was born in 1985 in Kyauk Taw, Rakhine State, Myanmar. He has developed a reputation as one of the most prominent artists of realism in Myanmar. Aung Naing’s expertise lies in portrait painting and his works have been widely recognized for their lifelike quality and attention to detail.

Throughout his career, Aung Naing has participated in several group exhibitions in Myanmar and abroad, showcasing his talent and attracting the attention of art enthusiasts. Some of the notable group exhibitions he has been a part of include the National Museum Exhibition in 2008, the Giver Art Exhibition in 2011, and the Northern Breeze Art Exhibition in 2013, 2014, and 2015. He has also been a part of several overseas exhibitions, including the Five Colour Exhibition in Suvannabhumi Art Gallery in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2015 and the Shanscape Group Show in Taiwan in 2017.

Aung Naing has been the recipient of several awards and recognition for his artistic contributions. In 2015, he was awarded the Fourth Prize Best Painting of the Year 2015 by the Tun Foundation Bank, and in 2016, he won the Fourth Prize Best Painting of the Year 2016 by the same institution.
